After you reach out, we’ll schedule a consultation to understand your child’s needs. Based on this, we recommend the most suitable tutoring option (subject, year level, format), and match your child with a qualified tutor. Sessions are then booked in weekly or flexibly, depending on what works for your family.
Every student learns at their own pace. Some children may benefit from support for one term, while others need ongoing tutoring across the year. We regularly review your child’s progress and adjust their learning plan as needed. You may cancel tutoring with two weeks’ written notice, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.
Our tutors track weekly progress and share updates with you through informal check-ins and parent feedback. For long-term bookings, you’ll receive structured feedback on your child’s development. We focus on helping students build confidence, meet curriculum standards, and achieve individual goals. You’re welcome to request a progress update at any time.
Yes. Our small group sessions (maximum 4 students) allow for individualised support and collaborative learning. Tutors work one-on-one with each student during the session and guide them through tailored independent tasks. Small groups often foster confidence, reduce pressure, and keep students engaged.
While we don’t offer general homework help, we do adapt sessions to support school topics where they align with our learning plan. For example, if your child has an assessment task or is learning fractions in class, we can incorporate these into our tutoring sessions to build confidence and improve outcomes.
We understand that plans change. You can reschedule or cancel 1-to-1 sessions with at least 24 hours’ notice. Missed sessions or cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged in full. Group programs are fixed and cannot be rescheduled or refunded. For emergencies, we encourage you to contact us as soon as possible.
Yes. Many students require support in both English and Maths. We recommend focusing on one subject per session, but you can switch focus at any time. Just let us know and we’ll adjust your child’s learning plan.
